Information Section
The Information Section of the US Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti explains and advocates US foreign and domestic policies to Haitian audiences. Our goal is to promote mutual understanding and international cooperation between the people of the United States and Haiti.
Our Activities
articulating U.S. government policies for the Haitian Press, organizing press conferences for visiting U.S. officials,
answering press queries, publicizing Embassy activities, such as donations
bringing together local journalists and other interested people with U. S. government officials and/or specialists in the United States through electronic dialogues,
distributing official U.S. television and radio products to the Haitian press, and assisting the US news media working in Haiti.

Electronic Journals - topical journals regarding Economic Perspectives, U.S. Foreign Policy Agenda, U.S. Society & Values, Global Issues, and Issues of Democracy. Electronic Journals are in French and English and are updated regularly.
