Demonstration Today: Downtown and Delmas

The U.S. Embassy has received reports that a demonstration is planned to occur in downtown Port-au-Prince today. The demonstration is planned to start at 10:00 hours and is scheduled to utilize the following route:
Bel-Air at Rue Macajoux, Rue Sanfil, Rte. de Delmas, Delmas 2, Rue Mgr. Guilloux, Rue Montalais, Rue Capois and end at the Place Constitution located on the Champ-de-Mars.
The Embassy would like to remind all U.S. citizens to exercise caution. All travel to downtown Port-au-Prince and the affected areas should be rescheduled if possible.
