New Books for Ecole Humanitaire Serviabilité

As part of the IRC’s book of the month program, the Nouveaux Horizons story books titled Menace sur note planète & S.O.S enfants du monde were donated to students of the school “Ecole Humanitaire Serviabilité.”  On July 1st Embassy staff paid a visit to the school for a storytelling activity.   Students discussed each illustrated book containing a collection of short, multicultural stories underlying real-world issues.   Among the students’ many favorites were three stories reflecting environmental issues.   The students shared ways in which they could do their part to help the environment, such as throwing trash in trash cans and turning water off while they brush their teeth.
