The Government of Haiti's Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) invited Commercial Attachés and Ambassadors from various embassies and Executive Directors from chambers of commerce to visit Cap Haitien and the surrounding region from July 24-26.  The mission was organized to promote cooperation between Haiti's private sector and international representatives as the Government of Haiti seeks to promote private investment in Haiti's northern region, particularly in the apparel and tourism sectors.  During the trip, the group visited the Caracol and CODEVI Industrial Parks, and various sites for tourism infrastructure investment.  They also met with the Chambers of Commerce of the North and the Northeast, and with the Haitan Tourism Association's northern chamber.
