As part of the U.S. Embassy’s Speaker Bureau program, Economic Officer Justine Treadwell led a presentation on June 15, 2012 at the State University’s Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences in Port-au-Prince on American Values on Entrepreneurship.  Mr. Jovis Belot, Dean of the Faculty and a Fulbright Alumnus, introduced the program and Mrs. Treadwell led the discussed the evolution of American society during the westward expansion with a discussion on historical relations between Haiti and the United States.  The presentation was followed by a question and answer session and a discussion on the different student opportunities offered by the United States Government.
