Political Section

The Political Section advises the Ambassador of political developments in Haiti. The section reports to Washington on Haitian internal political developments and on external issues that affect the bilateral Haitian-U.S. relationship. The section also advocates U.S. government policies in official contacts with Haitian government officials.
