Donation of Food and Humanitarian Supplies

On April 6, 2011, the joint military and civilian crew participating in Southern Partnership Station 2011 aboard the High Speed Vessel Swift (HSV 2) delivered more than 135 metric tons of donated food and humanitarian supplies, at the Wharf of Port-au-Prince.  The Swift’s last visit to Port-au-Prince was in November 2010, when it brought a mobile clinic and water purification systems.  These visits are part of the U.S. government’s commitment to the people of Haiti.
