Non-Immigrant Visas

Visa Renewal Program

Persons who have obtained U.S. visas valid for at least one year and who can document their ties to Haiti, may apply for a visitor visa through the Consular Section's Visa Renewal Program. Those persons who meet the conditions listed below are eligible to participate.

  • They must have had a visa issued for multiple entries for a period of at least 12 months;
  • Their visa must have expired within the last twelve months; 
  • The visa requested must be a B1, B2, or B1/B2 visa; and 
  • They must provide documentation clearly showing that they are so well-established financially and socially in Haiti that there would be no reason for them to overstay or work illegally in the United States.

Persons who wish to use the Visa Renewal Program may contact any travel agency participating in this program.
